What's New Thursday!

Good morning all.... Hi Laureen! ... I am going to Florida tomorrow too... unless the interview turns out real well! ... naaa, still gotta go and keep my commitments. I will be in Tallahassee over the weekend, unless I get a call today that the class is canceled. I have the interview in a couple of hours... really been thinking about  this a lot (of course) and even though I am telling myself not to get my hopes up.... I am. For the first time in awhile I feel like I just need to stay near home, keep working on the new LIVEit, get to the gym, etc... Hanging around in motels ain't my cup of tea... I hope everyone has a great day... and keep fingers, toes, and eyes crossed that I impress at the interview. It may turn out to be a total waste of an hours drive, but it may change my life... Ya never know!

Hi All, Just a quick note before I leave for work. I to am gearing up for Pittsburgh. I cant wait to drive to Tampa and get to the airport and board that cattle car  or plane in the sky!!!!!  I have the rolling Diffle Bag out Stuff out all over and ready to go in. My cat Tevia wants to go too. He wants to go home with Annette and be with Annie.  He is pulling all the toilet paper out and destroying it all over the house.  Laureen please tell me again what hotel you are going to be at in Clearwater? There are 2 Quality Inns on on the beach and one on Highway 19. I am off the whole weekend as we are slow. I dont think Ill be able to get up to Clearwater till around 3:30 or 4pm on Saturday as I have to help my cousin with Odysiy of the mind and we told the parents to be sure to pick them up by 230-pm so we could leave.  My orange trees are in blossom and they are beautiful. and they smell like no other!!!!! I have never seen a tree so pretty in bloom. Well on to work. Carla 

Hey Carla, If you can make it to Clearwater fine, if not, don't sweat it, as we will be meeting for sure the following Friday!  Later in the day would probably be better anyway, as I am not sure exactly what time we will be there, though my daughter promises that we will pack up the car the night I arrive and just get up and go on Saturday morning, so we shall see, but definitely be there by 3:30 or 4.  Not sure of which Quality Inn it is, I'll get back to you on that, PM me your telephone number in case I forget to get back to you on here, though I think I have it in my cell phone. Good morning everyone! No I havne't been missing in action. I've had my arms full of grandson. My son, N, and the baby came over last Staurday to spend Easter with me. They are still here. I think they decided that since I am on Spring Break that they would hang out for a few more days.  Each morning as I have climbed out of bed, my son has appeared with a fussy hungry little boy with a "Mom- can you take him so I can sleep?" How could I refuse the opportunity to hold and rock this little sweetheart! My son asked me last night how do I get him to go to sleep as I seem to have a special way with him. He hehehe... What can I say! I did take some time on Wednesday to meet up with my new friend. He and I went walking around Fort McHenry. It was a beautiful day. I have always loved the park there as it is right on the water and the view is lovely.  Not much else to report. Hope eveyone is having a great week!

Aime, Your post brought a big happy feeling and smile to my face!  I'm so happy that things are settling down with N, and you are able to enjoy having that sweet little Paul in your arms to love and hug again! I hope the weather is nice for you all that are going to Pittsburg. but that far north in March , anything can happen.  I spent yesterday cleaning and weeding flower beds got 5 of them done with 3 inches of new compost added and then put down Preen to keep the weeds at bay in them.. I cant wait to get flowers in my beds. But this satisfies the need to get into the dirt for the time being.  Today if it doesnt rain i am going over to the new little place we bought and get the flower beds cleaned out . They are overrun with honeysuckel and there is all kinds of flowers in there that will be pretty if i can get the beds all cleaned out. This one bed is the whole length of the house and about 2 ft wide. so armed with clippers, diggers and gloves i will be working most of the day i think.  Tomorrow morning i am going to meet my sister at her water aerobics class in Springfield and then go to the ortho Dr. for a shot of cortizone in my right shoulder. It has been a year since i had one and it is really letting me know it since i have been working it a lot.  After the Ortho doc. the leader of our support group wants me to come by her new home they just moved into and tell her what i would do to the yard. It is a very extablished yard with lots of overgrown bushes and trees. I am taking my camera so i can remember where things are and see if i can come up with something for her.  I would love to move into a place that had lots of mature landscaping, i never have , once we moved into a place that had 3 hugh lilac bushes and one big dogwood, but that is the most of anything i have ever had in place when moving in so it has always been a blank canvas more or less.  Well got to get my first protein drink done for the day and get dressed and get started.
